I'm a photographer serving those looking to freeze this season of life in stills and capture it in motion through short films. And I am very very glad you've found yourself here!
It was a perfect day, and it just feels right to share it with you guys. Max and I were married one year ago Sunday! 11/11, if he ever forgets it we have problems. It was the day we had always wanted, simple but not, cozy but elegant. We did a lot of this wedding ourselves. By a lot, I mean pretty much everything, like we didn’t build the tables but that was about it. We were married in downtown Fullerton and had our reception in my grandparents backyard, where so many family members have been married before us, including my parents!! We strung lights, rolled out rugs for dancing, ate wood fired pizzas and cinnamon rolls and ended the night with a leap into the pool.
As much as I love sharing these sweet photos, the real reason I’m blogging it to introduce a new series I’m starting next Tuesday called Wedding Tip Tuesday. Concepts on how to DIY your wedding..but not die trying! DIY should actually save you money, not cost you extra and I’m going to tell you how we did it all. To jump in on this series head to the homepage of my website and get on the mailing list! This series will be exclusive to those who subscribe and I promise you won’t be disappointed! Checklists, favorite DIY vendors, tips for setting your day up for the perfect photos, all of it from a girl who did the DIY wedding and photographs them 35 times a year!
Hope you enjoy the sweet images of our day by Erica Streelman Photography as much as we have!
